Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister Coffee Storage Review

Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister

I didn’t want to do two coffee bean reviews in a row, so I decided to take a little detour.  This will be the first review of random coffee gear that I use at home.  First up (and newest to the collection) is the Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister.

The canister comes in a few different colours: Clear Glass (mine), Matte White, and Matte Black.  All the colours in the collection look stylish. You don’t have to hide these in the pantry or drawer, display these right out in the open. For those wondering why you would get this, coffee beans do start to get stale after being exposed to air/sunlight. To protect your beans against the elements, you can use containers like these help keep them fresh. The container is easy to use (just twist to suck out the air) and does seem to do what it claims.

That being said, the canister does not come cheap. The Clear Glass is priced at approximately $25 USD for the 0.4L, $27.50 for the 0.7L, and $30 for the 1.2L. The Matte Black and Matte White cost a few dollars more.  Despite the price, it helps keep your beans fresher longer and would make for a nice gift for a fellow coffee lover. Personally, I prefer the 0.7L size, but if you typically buy your beans in bulk perhaps the larger 1.2L would make sense.

Word of warning. You can’t store ground coffee in this and you do have to hand wash it a bit carefully, so if you are a dishwasher fiend who loves ground coffee maybe this isn’t for you. You can buy the Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister here.

Rating: 4/5 (would be higher if it was cheaper!)
