Today I’m reviewing the Fritz Coffee Company Christmas Blend Coffee. I purchased this coffee on a whim. Just before Christmas, I was perusing Instagram and saw that a local coffee shop was selling Fritz Coffee Company beans. To be honest, I had never heard of them but figured it was worth trying something different. I typically try to support local roasters, but every now and then I like to try something different. Fritz Coffee is actually based in Seoul, Korea and this is actually the first time I’ve tried any beans from Korea. Also, it seems like they are quite popular and have the usual modern-day coffee roaster focus on sustainable beans. Looking online, their cafes in Korea seem to be quite cool as well and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit if I found myself there.
This is the first of two reviews I’m writing on Fritz Coffee (I bought two bags). On the Fritz Coffee Christmas Blend, it’s clearly a special release for the holiday seasons (giveaway from the name). The beans were quite delicious actually with some berry flavours and citrus undertones.
However, the beans were not cheap, running me around $25 CAD per bag. That being said, next time I see these readily available in Toronto I would not hesitate to grab a bag. I would recommend you do the same!
